TPRC - A Blast From The Past
A (less than) Brief Historical Account
This is a journey through the archives of TPRC which started in June 2011 when Andrew Grieve, Anne Neilson, Sandra Ward and George Laidlaw took a trip to the archive in Dundee City Council to look at the three boxes containing early information about the Council (TPRC) . The comments made are entirely the resposibility of the author (George Laidlaw) who has enjoyed having a retrospective look at TPRC.
I am starting with a photograph taken at the turn of the century (that sounds old).

However, back to the beginning. the Executive Committee and office bearers of the original Dundee and District Retirement Council first met on Thu 6th March 1980. Ian Rodgers, seen above, is the the only 'original' who serves on TPRC!
